Members of the public are invited to attend and testify at the city council committee on government operations’ hearing on Docket #0130, a petition for a special law re: An Act Authorizing the City of Boston to Offer Early Voting in Municipal Elections.
5:45PM Revolutionary War Lecture. Join the National Park Service, Boston Harbor Now and Save the Harbor, Save the Bay at Atlantic Wharf for the first of three winter lectures exploring our Revolutionary Harbor, see additional details here.
6:00PM Dock Square Garage BPDA Public Meeting. Boston Planning & Development Agency is holding a public meeting in the BPDA Board Room at City Hall to discuss the planned development area document that was filed in association with the Dock Square Garage proposed project, see additional details here.
What was once called “The guardian angel of the North Atlantic” by the Wall Street Journal is now for sale for $5.2M. The bright-red Nantucket lightship was more recently purchased through an eBay auction for $126,000 to a couple that put millions into it’s restoration, turning it into 4,000 square feet of custom-designed interior space with six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a library, media room, office, living room and dining area, read more on the Boston Business Journal.
