First Annual Winter Wonderland Brings Holiday Joy to the Nazzaro Center

The First Annual North End Winter Wonderland event was a hit at the Nazzaro Center. The courtyard was decorated by Steven “Virgil” Virgilio with a big outdoor Christmas tree and life-size decorations and lights, courtesy of DePasquale Ventures.

Mayor Marty Walsh made a special trip to light the tree in a countdown. Everyone enjoyed the holiday music, pizza from Regina Pizzeria, hot chocolate and cookies from Mike’s Pastry.

Kids enjoyed crafts by the Salvation Army and Santa was on hand so every child left with a gift. Participants brought basic toiletries and unwrapped toys that were donated to the Salvation Army shelter.
