Boston Native Serves Up Pizza for California Firefighters
Joe D’Amore, a North End native and restaurateur, started a successful chain in Southern California and has been serving pizza for firefighters and first responders as the deadly wildfires get closer and closer to his businesses, read more on the Boston Herald.

9:30AM North End Zoning Hearings at City Hall. Stop by hearing rom 801 for a zoning Board of Appeal hearing where community members can offer testimony on appeal cases before the Board of Appeal.
10:00AM City Council Hearing Regarding Boston Speed Limits. Stop by the Iannella Chamber in City Hall where the Chair of the Committee, Michelle Wu, and sponsor Councilor Ed Flynn invite the public to attend and testify, see additional details here.
6:30PM FOCCP Monthly Meeting at Mariner’s House. Stop by 11 North Square for the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park monthly meeting, see additional details here.
Wednesday, November 14
West Sidewalk Closes at N. Washington Street Bridge. Beginning Wednesday, November 14, the western sidewalk (Charles River side) of the North Washington Street Bridge will be closed to all pedestrians as work continues on the bridge replacement project.
6:30PM Friends of the NE Library Meeting. Stop by 25 Parmenter Street for a Friends of the North End Library meeting.
7:00PM NEWNC Monthly Meeting. Please note revised change of dates due to holiday! The November 2018 meeting will now be on Wednesday, Nov. 14th instead of Monday (Veterans Day). Stop by 30 N. Bennet Street for the monthly NEWNC meeting.
7:30PM Najarian Lecture on Human Rights at Faneuil Hall. The Najarian Lecture on Human Rights, a public program of the Armenian Heritage Park, will host Incarceration: Untangling the Web of Injustice on at Faneuil Hall, see additional details here.
