Two Suspects Sought for Assault on August 25th

Suspects wanted by Boston Police in connection with an incident that began on Hanover Street. (BPDNews)

The Boston Police Civil Rights Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify the above pictured suspects in connection to an assault and battery that occurred in Downtown Boston at about 10:44 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2018. The incident began on Hanover Street and continued onto the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information that can assist the investigation or help to identify these suspects is asked to call detectives at (617) 343-4527.

  1. with the nose and screaming all night, someone could get shot or rapped at any hour of the night and you would never know. Hanover St is so loud with people screaming and yelling, cars racing down Hanover St and motorcycles revving there bikes full throttle and no policeman to stop any of it. It’s only a matter of time before something seriously happens.
    I don’t understand why we don’t have 1 policeman patrolling the NE after hours quieting things down.
    I guess it’s easier for them to wait till someone happens.

  2. If the civil rights unit is investigating, it’s because it’s being treated as a hate crime. Any additional info released Matt?

    Since the assault took place during the St. Anthony’s Feast, hopefully BPD is circulating photos in suburbs too.
