Ray Bourque, co-owner of Tresca and former Boston Bruins hockey player, helped carry the Madonna del Soccorso during the Fisherman’s Feast’s grand procession this past weekend.
Bourque holds the record for the most career goals, assists and points by a defenseman in the National Hockey League. He played 21 seasons for the Bruins from 1979 to 2000, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame of 2004.
