Police Officers responded to a radio call for a person climbing on a fire escape in the area of 25 Fleet Street at 3:05 a.m. Sunday, July 15.

When officers arrived, a victim informed them someone had kicked through their apartment window. Officers entered the apartment, but did not find the suspect. They then heard breaking glass and followed the sound to the alley adjacent to Moon Street. They observed falling glass from the fifth floor and climbed the fire escape to gain entry through the broken window. Officers found the suspect asleep in a bed. The suspect, 20-year-old Kevin Dean of Bolton, CT could not provide proof of residence. Police arrested him for breaking and entering in the nighttime, malicious destruction of property, and disturbing the peace.

Larceny (Bike)
07/07 – 7/08/18 7:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Victim reports he had his Specialized (black) bike in the hallway of his Prince Street building. The next day the bike had been stolen.
Larceny / Shoplifting
07/08/18 8:30 p.m.
Male and female suspects attempted to walk out of a Hanover Street pharmacy with stolen property. Management reports they confronted the suspects and retrieved the K-cups coffee boxes from the suspects who then fled on foot.
