Haymarket worker was offering more than just produce, police charge

After watching multiple drug transactions, a Revere man was arrested on drug charges after Boston Police officers say they watched him sell some drugs on Blackstone Street before walking over to a Haymarket tent and completing another transaction, read more on Universal Hub.

11:15AM ReadBoston Book Bike. Share the love of books with children through activities and literature in an environmentally-friendly way with an extension of ReadBoston’s Storymobile program.

6:00PM Jazz in the Park Summer Concert Series. Join NEMPAC for a free concert series in partnership with the City of Boston and the greenway Conservancy. Today’s concert will feature Receita De Samba, see additional details here.

6:30PM Opening Reception for “Before the El Came Down: Photographs by John Wolf”. Join the West End Museum for their new photo exhibit feature a glimpse into the final days of the elevated green line tracks, see additional details here.

7:00PM Zoning, Licensing and Construction (ZLC) Committee July meeting. The July ZLC meeting will be held at the Mariner’s House in North Square. This month’s agenda includes Going Bananas Market’s application for a malt and wine license. See the full agenda here.

8:00PM The Coolidge at the Greenway Movie Night – Raiders of the Lost Ark. Join the Greenway and Coolide Corner Theatre for a free viewing of Raisers of the lost Ark at Wharf District Park.

9:30AM Groundbreaking Ceremony of The Prado. The restoration of the Prado / Paul Revere Mall will kick off with a groundbreaking ceremony at the Paul Revere Mall, see additional details here.

7:00PM North End Movie Night at the Gassy (DeFilippo Playground). Join the Boston Community Collaborative at the Prince Street (DeFilippo Playgound) Park for free pizza and a movie night, see additional details here.

  1. I spent the first 50 years (40’s thru 80’s) of my life living in the north end. I thought I new every street but WALSH PL. is a new one to me. can someone please give me it’s location. thank you
