
Eliot School Asst. Principal Lydia Torres is retiring after 40 years with Boston Public Schools. Students, faculty and staff recognized Ms. Torres as part of their End of Year Celebration Assembly at Faneuil Hall to wish her the very best in retirement.
Principal Traci Walker Griffith said, “Lydia has inspired, encouraged and motivated so many students and their families and we are forever grateful for her dedication and devotion to the field of education.”
State Representative Aaron Michlewitz also presented a State House citation to celebrate her years of service.
Mrs. Torres has had a positive impact on and is beloved by many, many Eliot students.
We wish her a wonderful and well deserved retirement.
