Thank you, Michael. That’s been updated in the post.
Seems like the perfect time to bring up security. Is there an actual plan for this year or will we have to wait until the neighborhood streets and parks are overrun with out of control teenagers before the city reponds?
Truth,
HOPEFULLY this topic will be addressed at the next monthly North End Public Safety Meeting, being held Thursday 6/7, at 6.00pm, at the Nazzaro Center.
I hope you are able to attend.
Just a reminder that said Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month, at the aforementioned time and location.
Thanks.
-David Marx-
(Host of the monthly North End Public Safety Meetings)
david – thank you for the response and invitation to the meeting.
My pleasure, truth.
Another year awaits us can’t wait !!!
As an officer of St. Anthony’s Society, I can say that we are all excited to welcome another feast season. We are ready to continue to work with the city, police department and our neighbors to ensure that the festivals remain a fun and safe event for tour attendees and more specifically our neighbors.
Thanks Jason
I look forward to the feast season and I am well aware of the issues of last summer.I felt that the feast organizers and the various feast Society’s took a bad rap last year being blamed by some for the behavior of groups of teens coming into the area.It is a different world than the one most of us grew up in. Today these kids have zero respect for anybody or anything. The feast’s in the North End are a tradition and a part of our culture and as Jason wrote these dedicated and hard working men and woman will work to make the feasts fun and safe again..Buono Festa Tuti.
