6:00PM Bike Share Expansion Open House. The Boston transportation Department will host eleven open houses this spring to finalize plans for more than 70 new bike share stations in the city. The North End / Waterfront Open House will be held at Boston City Hall, see additional details here.

6:30PM FOCCP Monthly Meeting at Mariner’s House. Join the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park for their monthly meeting on the 2nd floor at 11 North Square, see additional details here.

CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON ENVIRONMENT, SUSTAINABILITY & PARKS WORKING SESSION ON DOCKET #0172

Members of the Public are invited to attend a hearing and participate in a discussion on environment, sustainability and parks. The matter, which was sponsored by Councilor Matt O’Malley, will take place at 2PM on May 4th at City Hall in the Piemonte Room, read more on Boston.gov.

10:00AM Public Hearing Regarding the Greenway Business Improvement District. The Boston City Council will hold a hearing in the Iannella Chamber at City Hall on the fifth floor to discuss the Greenway Business Improvement District (BID), see additional details here.

12:30PM Let me Tell You A Story at the West End Library. Join the West End Library at 151 Cambridge Street for the rare pleasure of being read to as an adult. Feel free to take a break from your work day and bring your own lunch to enjoy.

3:45PM Fiber Arts at the North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street where children ages 7-10 are invited to participate in a variety of techniques to create projects while learning about the artists and cultures that use these methods. Register in advance by calling 617-227-8135.

6:00PM FOCCP Membership Social. Join the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park at The Living Room at 101 Atlantic Ave and learn more about the organization while meeting new people and enjoying delicious food. Members can attend for free and non-members can pay a fee of $10.

7:00PM NEWRA Monthly Meeting. Join the North End Waterfront Residents Association for their monthly meeting at the Nazzaro Center located at 30 North Bennet Street. See the agenda and additional details here.

North End Music & Performing Arts Center Cucina e Musica Italiana April 23

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center will host a four-course dinner and wine-paring night out on Monday, April 23, at Carmelina’s on Hanover Street.
