The North End Athletic Association (NEAA) will honor longtime volunteer Robert “Ted” Tomasone at Opening Day on Saturday, April 28.
Teddy has been a past player, coach, umpire, director, mentor and Chief Fundraiser for the NEAA for over 50 years! Please join us to honor a man who never, ever forgot where he came from and continues to give back to the North End community, not only through the NEAA, but also with the North End Christmas Fund and the Christmas Parade!
We will have a BBQ for all NEAA players and their families for all our programs, even if your team is not playing that day – come on down. The first pitch ceremony will be held at 1pm. Prior to that we will have coffee and donuts around 10am and the BBQ will start around 12 noon. There will also be a face painter and balloon maker for all the kids.
Look forward to seeing you all in the sun at the park!

I was fortunate to have both Teddy and “Uncle”Fred as coaches playing baseball growing up,,along with Bobby Aggripino,,Joey Buceta,,and a few other friends Teddy coached us to a championship in little league,,he always believed in having everyone play long before it was mandatory,,we were taught the right way to play,,to respect one another and be gracious in defeat,,then on to pony league with Billy DeVico ,the Carangelo Brothers Freddy and Anthony,,and a few others in the pony league years,,We never forgot the impression these men left on our lives and amazingly one continues to do it with passion all these years!! Teddy Tomasone! God bless you and Congratulations!! Well deserved! Uncle Fred definitely approves!
