North End Against Drugs (NEAD) is now accepting applications for our 2018 Raymond and Michelina Costa Scholarship Program.
The program is open to all North End residents who will be attending a tuition-based school in the 2018/2019 academic year, as well as those attending public school. Students attending tuition-based schools will be eligible for a cash scholarship. Students attending a public school will be eligible to win a gift card to Staples to help with the cost of school supplies.
The deadline for submitting an application is Tuesday, May 8th, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. Applications can be mailed to NEAD at 30 North Bennet Street, Boston, MA 02113 or dropped off there and put in the NEAD mailbox. Late applications will not be accepted.
Scholarship applications along with the guidelines and rules will be available starting Wednesday, April 18 at the Nazzaro Center. You can also download the application here.
Please note that in order to be eligible, the student or a family member must be present at the drawing, which will be held on Friday, May 18th at 5:45 p.m. at the Nazzaro Community Center.
