On Friday, March 30, Boston Community Collaborative held its 6th annual neighborhood egg hunt! The hunt was enjoyed by hundreds of folks including kids, moms, dads, nannies, grandparents, friends and neighbors.
Special thanks to The Living Room for providing yummy coffee, cookies and goodies at the playground for everyone, to the ladies of the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park – especially Ann Babbit who hosted them in her home and fed them – for stuffing a ton of eggs last week.
An extra special thanks goes to the 17 older kids who came out to assist with egg hiding, and rehiding. These kids all have know each other from various parts of the neighborhood, school, daycare, Nazzaro, sports, playgroup from when they were small children. Thank you RJ, Peter, Charlie, Leo, Rian, Liam F, PJ, Lindsey, Max, Lexi, Travis, Amira, Beckett, Devin, Liam W, Alba Lis, and John John. These kids coming back to help year after year is my favorite part of this annual egg hunt.
This year’s egg hunt was coordinated and sponsored by Boston Community Collaborative, sponsored by The Living Room, NorthEndWaterfront.com, and NorthEndBoston.com, and hosted by the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park.
Thank you to everyone who came and were so polite and kind to one other – this was the biggest and best egg hunt yet. Well done everyone!
