12:00PM Super Bowl Pep Rally for the NE Patriots at Faneuil Hall. Join the Faneuil Hall Marketplace merchants and members of the Boston University Cheerleading team for the ultimate pep rally as the New England Patriots prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles for Super Bowl LII.
2:00PM North End Library Friday Film Series: “The Verdict”. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for the February Friday Film series featuring movies set in Boston. This Friday’s film will be “The Verdict”, see here for additional details.
Notable News:
A 44-story tower is set to break ground, replacing the Garden Garage
After two years of winning city approvals, all other the necessary approvals have been confirmed to demolish the Garden Garage on Lomansey Way and begin work on another skyline-altering tower near North Station starting this summer. The $410 million project is set to open in 2021 and will join several other new towers in the surrounding blocks, Boston Globe has the full story.
