Thank You for Supporting Eliot School’s “Evening for Education”

On Sunday, December 3rd Eliot School families and partners gathered together to celebrate at the annual “Evening for Education” event. Our fundraising initiative “All in With Technology” is aimed at supporting the growth and development of the Eliot learning community with the enhancement of technology curricular, resources and tools. We are extremely excited to announce that this evening raised over $170,000 dollars towards this technology initiative.

Eliot K-8 Innovation School Principal Traci Walker Griffith joins with il Molo’s Donato Frattaroli (2nd from right and local officials, State Senator Joe Boncore (far right) Rep. Aaron Michlewitz (left), former City Councilor Sal LaMattina (center).

Principal Traci Walker Griffith spoke on behalf of the school to highlight the ways that students already engage with technology in the classroom, and shared the options of S.T.E.M. curricula and learning tools that could further enhance our students’ growth and development in this technological world.

We were also privileged and proud to celebrate and honor our friend and city councilor Sal LaMattina for all of his hard work and dedication to making our students learning environment the very best. Sal has retired, but the Eliot School will remain forever grateful for his unwavering support for our community.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our friends Donato Frattaroli and his family at Il Molo restaurant, who opened their doors and created the perfect environment to socialize and indulge in delicious foods and meaningful conversations about the Eliot school and the North End community. Our fabulous friends from 90+ Cellars provided wonderful wines and our creative, hardworking event coordinator and proud Eliot School parent Jennifer McGivern and our corporate supporters, Matt Conti of Northendwaterfront.com, Collin Yip of Rafi Properties, Chris Young of MSA Mortgage, Charter Realty and Development, St. Joseph’s Society, the Von Sternberg Family Foundation and Michael Olson of Rhino Capital. The continuous support and care for the Eliot community is contagious and we are forever grateful for you and your hard word.
