Last week, St. John School’s 6th grade students harvested and delivered 95 bags of fresh greens to St. Anthony’s Shrine’s Franciscan Food Center. This is the second year, where on Ash Wednesday, students have had the privilege of helping those in need.

St. John School First Tower Garden Harvest Today
St. John School had their first Tower Garden harvest today. The students harvested Basil, Swiss Chard, Mesclun, Romaine Lettuce and Arugula. Francesca Mantone Receives “Freshman of the Year” Award
Congratulations to Francesca Mantone! On Friday, June 8,2012 Francesca Mantone, daughter of life long North End residents Joseph and Angela Mantone and former student of St. John’s Parochial School received the “FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD” from Pope John XXIII High School.
