Events for Friday, November 3:

10:00AM Little Groove Concert at North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter St. and get ready to shake, wiggle, and move with Little Groove. Children will have the opportunity to interact with parachutes, puppets, instruments and more, see here for additional event details.

2:00PM Friday Film “Philadelphia Story” at North End Library. Join the North End Library at 25 Parmenter Street for their Friday film series. This week’s film will feature Philadelphia Story from 1940.

Carmen in Boston’s North End to Reopen at Assembly Row in Somerville

Carmen, an upscale Italian restaurant that closed its North Square location in July 2016, is set to open in its new location in Assembly Row in spring of 2018, Boston Restaurant Talk has the full story.

Golden Goose Cafe

Gourmet grocer and butcher shop, Golden Goose Market, has added a new outpost offering creative breakfast and lunch plates for North End neighborhood types, get an inside look on Zagat.

Timing TBD Poetry Open Mic. There will be a poetry open mic featuring Louisa Calio at I Am Books located at 189 North Street, more details to follow soon.

10:30AM I Piccooli Lettori. Join I Am Books at 189 North Street for its Italian reading group for children ages 0-4 and their parents. Together, the group will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning.

11:00AM Reenactment of The Devil and the Crown at Faneuil Hall. Join the Revolution 250 as volunteers reenact an outdoor, public demonstration of the Boston town meeting setting up a non-importation boycott against the Townshend duties.

Sunday, November 5:

1:00PM BINGO at Nazzaro Center. Join the Nazzaro Center at 30 North Bennet Street for an afternoon of BINGO. There will be prizes, raffles, coffee, desserts and all proceeds will be donated to hurricane victims, see additional event details.
