North End Water and Sewer Works November 2017 Update

The November 2017 work plan by Boston Water & Sewer Commission is shown below as part of Phase II of the multi-year North End Water, Sewer and Drainage Project.

October saw the completion of work on Richmond Street! During November, work will continue on North Street and Snow Hill Street. New construction is scheduled to begin on Baldwin Place and Jerusalem Place.

A North End resident pointed out a recent flyer from Boston Water & Sewer that highlights the fact that storm drains are not sewers. In addition to the environmental damage, she notes that dumping trash and dog poop into these drains makes them smell pretty bad, especially in the hot weather.

  1. If the work is completed on Richmond street why is Richmond Street closed form Fulton Street to North Street?
