On Saturday October 28th, North End Against Drugs (NEAD) and the Nazzaro Center joined forces to run a family fun night trip to Roger Williams Zoo in Rhode Island to see the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.
Over 40 NEAD family members, led by NEAD treasurer Karen D’Amico and board members Maria Lanza and John Pregmon, took a bus down to the zoo and had a fantastic time! Thanks to NEAD’s corporate sponsor Eversource and the Nazzaro Center, NEAD was able to provide a nice discount to the families so they could enjoy an affordable, fun, safe evening visiting the Zoo’s awesome event.
Children from the neighborhood and members of the Nazzaro Center wrapped up their trip by enjoying a stop at Wendy’s on the way home. It was a fun time had by all and a great way to prepare for Trick-or-Treating in the neighborhood!
