Now Open: Golden Goose Cafe at 65 Atlantic Avenue

Golden Goose Cafe is now open at 65 Atlantic Avenue. The new coffee shop and cafe is located next to the Prince Building across the street from the Sail Loft in a brick space renovated from offices and a bank before that.

Owner Steve DeAngelis has operated the abutting Golden Goose Market for over 40 years and received support for the new venture from the Neighborhood Council and Residents Association last year.

In addition to a full selection of egg, pancake and bagel options, some of the breakfast specials include The Northeast Beast (3 eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, choice of pancake, french toast or waffle), The Elvis (toasted brioche, banana jelly, bacon and peanut butter), The Breakfast Sammy, Crab Cakes Benedict and the Burrito Desayuno (scrambled eggs, cotija cheese, queso fresco créme, pico de gallo, avacado, black beans, peppers and onions).

For lunch, the menu starts with a prime rib sandwich, Cubano panini and moves into burgers, BLTs, paninis, wraps and salads. An extensive selection of smoothies, coffee/teas and cold brew beverages rounds out the menu.

The Golden Goose Cafe has 36 seats with plans for outdoor seating. The cafe is open 7 days a week, 7am-3pm, serving breakfast and lunch.
