The Boston Public Market Association (BPMA), a not-for-profit-organization that runs the Boston Public Market, located at 100 Hanover Street, will host its second annual Harvest Party fundraiser the evening of Thursday, October 19th. Last year’s event welcomed nearly 800 people to the Market for a lively celebration of local food and cocktails, dancing, vendor demos, prizes, and more. This year’s festivities will support the Boston Public Market Association’s mission to create opportunity for New England farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs; to provide fresh local food to customers of all income levels; and to educate the public about food sourcing, nutrition and preparation.

5:30-7:00pm in the KITCHEN

Donation: $500 (includes a ticket to the Market Party following)

An intimate evening of culinary collaborations showcasing Boston Public Market vendors’ talents and the bountiful New England harvest in a friendly cooking competition. Guests are invited to taste exclusive Market creations and raise a glass to local farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs.

7:00-10:00pm in the Boston Public Market

Donation: $50

The Market Party presents a unique opportunity to explore the Boston Public Market behind closed doors. Attendees can jump in on interactive vendor demos to learn the tricks of their trade, sample local food favorites, enjoy dancing and live music from Berklee College of Music bands, bid on raffle prizes, and more. Other features include:

  • One alcoholic or soft drink with purchase of ticket, with a cash bar available throughout the evening
  • Capture the evening at a farm fresh Market photo booth
  • Take home a Boston Public Market goodie bag with exclusive offers for use at future visits

All proceeds from the Harvest Party will support the Boston Public Market’s Community Engagement Fund, which offers free, public, seed-to-skillet educational experience within the Market’s four walls and throughout the local community. Tickets for the BPMA’s Harvest Party can be purchased onsite at the Market’s Information Desk, or online via Eventbrite.
