What was once one of the few streets in the North End that a resident could drive down that was not congested has now been turned into a chaotic, dangerous stretch of road. Between a funeral home needing to conduct business, tour buses and the new bike path it’s just a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously injured. Very bad planning!

Boston Fire Responds to Mariner Building Alarm on Commercial Street
Boston Fire Department responded to an alarm on Wednesday night around 7:00 pm at the Mariner Building, 300 Commercial Street. Essentially closing the street, the fire trucks extended their ladders although it did not appear as though residents were evacuating. The street was cleared about 15 minutes later.
