4:00pm NEMPAC Fall Open House! Save the Date! NEMPAC will be hosting an Open House for new and returning students, check out our brand new community room, meet our instructors, try out an instrument, and more! This event is free and open to the public! Located at the Paul Revere Mall (Prado), Boston.
6:30pm Sumner Tunnel Toll Demolition Meeting at East Boston High School. Representatives of MassDOT will host a Sumner Tunnel Entrance Reconstruction and Toll Plaza Demolition Project Update Meeting to provide information on the proposed design of the tunnel entrance and toll booth elimination which will begin at a later date. The meeting is scheduled to be held in the auditorium at East Boston High School – 86 White St, East Boston.
Thursday, September 7 – Boston Public Schools – First Day of School.
12:00pm NFL Kickoff Concert at Christopher Columbus Park. Football is back! Celebrate 2017 NFL Kickoff and the Patriots’ Super Bowl LI Championship with a special celebration in downtown Boston. 6:00pm NE Public Safety Meeting – Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet St. All North End / Waterfront residents are welcome to attend, these meetings are attended by Boston Police Area A-1.

Join us to discuss Lucy Knisley’s forthright, thoughtful, and funny 2013 memoir Relish: My Life in the Kitchen, which traces key episodes in her life thus far, framed by what she was eating at the time and lessons learned about food, cooking, and life.
