Act of Generosity by North End Friend
Friends of the North End celebrated its 45th annual reunion. [See this post for photos.] A 50/50 drawing was held with proceeds going equally to worthy North End organizations i.e. North End Against Drugs, North End Athletic Association, Nazzaro Center, North End Music and Performing Arts Center and St. Leonard’s Church Restoration. Anthony Federico held the winning ticket. He has instructed the Friends of the North End to double its donations to those organizations by including his share in the memory of his brother, Liberatore “Libby” Federico, a dearly remembered Friend of the North End. Anthony is a proud former North Ender who has not forgotten his roots. View the post.
