Video: End of Summer, Dueling Fireworks Light Up Boston Harbor

End of summer fireworks returned to Boston Harbor on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. Organized by Boston Harbor Now, the two barges off the Seaport illuminated the downtown waterfront and could be seen from the North End to East Boston.

Boat Sinks at Commercial Wharf

Boston Fire Department responded to Commercial Wharf for a large cabin cruiser that sunk this afternoon. Divers searched the boat which was empty. Boston EMS, Police, Coast Guard & Environmental Police also on scene. The boat was named “Smiles 2 U.” (Photos by BFD.)
