5:30pm City Council Candidate Forum at Maverick Landing, East Boston. Come and mingle with the candidates for City Councilor (District 1) from 5:30-6pm then listen to candidate discussion 6-8pm. Bruins’ Krejci trades North End penthouse condo for a new one
After selling their condo at 236 Commercial Street, the Boston Bruins’ David Krejci is trading spaces in the North End. Krejci and his wife will be moving to a 1,783-square-foot condo at the Union Wharf building on Commercial Street. The $2.5 million condo comes complete with “high ceilings, recessed lighting, a wood-burning fireplace,” Boston Business Journal has the full story.

Friends of the North End 45th Reunion on September 16th
On Saturday, September 16th, the Friends of the North End will hold its 45th annual reunion at the Sons of Italy Hall 117 Swanton Street in Winchester. The reunion will start at 5 pm and dinner will be catered by Spinelli’s of East Boston. It is a great opportunity for boyhood friends to gather and reminisce about a cherished neighborhood.
