Bruins’ Krejci trades North End penthouse condo for a new one

After selling their condo at 236 Commercial Street, the Boston Bruins’ David Krejci is trading spaces in the North End. Krejci and his wife will be moving to a 1,783-square-foot condo at the Union Wharf building on Commercial Street. The $2.5 million condo comes complete with “high ceilings, recessed lighting, a wood-burning fireplace,” Boston Business Journal has the full story.

Amy Schumer has spent a lot of time in downtown Boston this summer while shooting a new movie. At a recent lunch at the Union Oyster House, Schumer left a $500 tip on an $80 tab, read in full at, The Boston Globe.

Friends of the North End 45th Reunion on September 16th

On Saturday, September 16th, the Friends of the North End will hold its 45th annual reunion at the Sons of Italy Hall 117 Swanton Street in Winchester. The reunion will start at 5 pm and dinner will be catered by Spinelli’s of East Boston. It is a great opportunity for boyhood friends to gather and reminisce about a cherished neighborhood.
