6:30pm FOCCP Meeting. All are welcome to attend the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park monthly meetings, where we plan upcoming events and recap recent Park news. Meetings take place at the Mariner’s House, 11 North Square in the North End.
Wednesday, August 9
3:00pm Coloring in the Courtyard at North End Library. Discover the therapeutic benefits of coloring! Relax, reduce stress, and leave feeling restored. Coloring books and supplies will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own materials from home. Located at 25 Parmenter Street.
5:30pm Croquet on the West Lawn of Christopher Columbus Park. Croquet on the West Lawn of Christopher Columbus Park. The fun starts at 5:30 – 7:30pm. Free and open to all!
6:00pm Michelle McPhee: Maximum Harm. Emmy-nominated investigative reporter and award-winning journalist Michele McPhee, who has spent two decades covering terrorism, murder, mobsters, and corruption will discuss her book, Maximum Harm, examining the Boston Marathon bombers. The talk will take place at I AM Books, 189 North Street, Boston.
6:30pm Next Level Fitness Bootcamp. Located at Hanover Street and Cross Street, get fit and stay healthy every week during the summer with Next Level Fitness!
6:30pm Friends of the North End Library Meeting. Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month at the back of the library, located at 25 Parmenter Street.
7:00pm North End Movie Night w/Pizza! at the Gassy, DeFilippo Playground. The fun runs through August 30th, every Wednesday night at the Gassy (Prince Street Park). Pizza at 7pm and movie at dark. Free, all are welcome! This week’s film: Grease.
