Join us to discuss Erik Larson’s 2011 nonfiction thriller “In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler’s Berlin,” in which mild-mannered history Professor William E. Dodd becomes America’s first ambassador to Hitler’s Nazi Germany in 1933 ~ a year which proved to be a turning point in history.
