These are the latest incidents from the weekly Boston Police Journal Log, related to the North End / Waterfront area, courtesy of BPD District A-1.

Larceny
06/20/17
Tileston St. resident reports she had a UPS delivery that was stolen from her building. Victim stated that after checking on her vacuum delivery the package had been stolen.

Disturbing the Peace 
06/21/17         5:00pm
Police officers responded to Hanover St. for a male causing a disturbance. On arrival the suspect was acting bizarre pushing a wheelchair and disrupting pedestrians, traffic and local business. Suspect placed under arrest for Disturbing the Peace.

July 4th Fireworks Engulfed by Smoke and Pop Music [Photos]

Here are some photos of the fireworks as seen from the North End and downtown rooftops. After the first few minutes, most of the fireworks were unfortunately engulfed by black smoke. Nuisance Control Ordinance Passed Unanimously by City Council Targeting Excessive Noise and Loud Parties

Boston City Council unanimously passed the Nuisance Control Ordinance in response to constituent concerns regarding excessive noise and loud parties in the city, including the North End.   1. There were thefts from the Villa Michelangelo parking lot last week. Two boys/men stole a bike, and also a motorcycle…. One cannot see the lot from the street, and the street is a dead end. It’s amazing that such a hidden, small lot got ‘hit’.
