It has been a while since the full Tall Ships regatta have visited Boston. As a reminder of what a busy harbor can look like, check out this time-lapse video of the 2015 Sail Amsterdam. With restrictions on private boats in Boston during the Parade of Sail, there will likely be fewer surrounding vessels, but the parallel parking is probably just as impressive!

Portuguese Navy Tall Ship, Sagres, Returns to Boston [Photos]

The Portuguese tall ship, Sagres, returned to Boston this week. The vessel is 294 feet and known for the red crosses on its sails. Docked at Fan Pier in Boston’s Seaport, the ship last visited Boston in 2015. Gerri Palladino took in the scene with her camera in this gallery. Photos by Gerri Palladino.
