The Boston Public Market Association’s seasonal farmers market at Dewey Square launches for the season on Tuesday, May 16, bringing fresh local food to residents, workers, commuters, and visitors on the Rose Kennedy Greenway for lunch on-the-go, picnic fare, grocery shopping, and grabbing dinner ingredients on the way to the train.
As a supplement to the indoor, year round Boston Public Market (100 Hanover Street at Haymarket Station), the outdoor farmers market at Dewey Square on The Greenway offers farm fresh produce; meat, poultry, and eggs; milk and cheese; fish; bread and baked goods; flowers; and an assortment of specialty and prepared foods from more than 20 New England farmers, fishers, and food entrepreneurs. The Boston Public Market Association has operated seasonal farmers markets in downtown Boston for over 10 years. Dewey Square vendors are proud to accept SNAP/EBT for all eligible products.
