North End Police Blotter: Vandal Takes Off With the Bread; Robbery Suspects Arrested

Police Officers responded to Hanover St. and Prince St. for a vandalism in progress.
Victim reports an unknown male suspect jumped on the hood of his taxi cab, then stole a loaf of bread and cash from the front seat and fled on foot. Suspect was arrested on Parmenter St. for Malicious Destruction of property (hood) taxi cab, Larceny from M.V. and Disorderly person.

Unarmed Robbery

Victim reports he was walking down Hanover St. by Commercial St. when 2 males stopped him and asked him if he had a cigarette lighter . At this time the suspects punched the victim knocking him to the pavement. Suspects went through his pockets and stole his sunglasses. Responding Police Officers stopped the suspects on Commercial St. were identified by witness and victim, sunglasses were recovered. Suspects placed under arrest for unarmed robbery.
