Principal Traci Walker-Griffith and Assistant Principal Lydia Torres were surprised by students and families to celebrate their 10 years at the Eliot K-8 Innovation School in Boston’s North End. In addition to the hundreds of students and parents, joining the cheers at the Steriti Skating Rink were Mayor Marty Walsh, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz and officials from Boston Public Schools.

The City of Boston filed a lawsuit this week against the State’s Gaming Commission to block the Wynn Resorts casino license and its $1.75 billion development in Everett.
