I think she was one of the most respected teachers EVER that the north end has ever had! Her dedication was superb,so many of us had the privilege to benefit from her vast knowledge of how to reach each of us in her class. She never forgot a face that she taught,I recall many years after I had been out of St.Anthonys and seen her,,she had no hesitation on remembering my name! God bless you and We all wish you a very happy birthday Mrs. Amicangelo!! You were loved by so many!!
It was an honor to teach with Mildred when she headed to St John’s after St Anthony’s closed. Always a beauty, coupled with an energy that surpassed all of us much younger than she. Her musicals were wonderful and the children love partaking in them at the Columbus Center. Her zest for life is something that will always stay with me. God bless Mildred on her 100th. ❤
