The Nazzaro Center was the site for the Ward 3 Democratic Committee as they held their annual caucus to elect delegates to the State Convention. The delegates will meet at the convention to discuss priorities of the party agenda over the next few years. Ward members and delegates live throughout all of Ward 3, which includes the North End, Waterfront, West End, Financial District, Beacon Hill, Downtown, Bulfinch Triangle, South End, Chinatown and the Leather District
On hand at the caucus was State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, City Councilor Sal LaMattina, City Councilor At-Large Ayanna Pressley, and At-Large City Councilor Annissa Essaibi George. Each of them spoke about several issues across the City of Boston and the Commonwealth, as well as a few words about President Donald Trump.
The 2017 Massachusetts Democratic State Convention will be held the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 am.
