Bay State seniors struggle to get by
As housing, healthcare, and the overall cost of living continues to surge in Massachusetts, many seniors are depending on services from places like the ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Services Center. The Boston Herald has more on the efforts being made to ensure that struggling seniors continue to make ends meet.

6:00pm The Story Behind Olive Oil – Taibi olive oil talk and tasting. Boston-based entrepreneur Giuseppe Taibi has been bringing to Massachusetts the 150-year-old olive oil-making tradition of his family in Agrigento, Sicily. Guessing: The living room photo is from late 1800s. Does not portray a ‘normal’ living room, but rather some kind of parlor, judging from the seating arrangements. In those days the word parlor was in use and at tims signified a more public venue.
