Giovanni DeCunto’s “The Family” Series

Giovanni Decunto Gallery, 116 South Street, Seaport District Boston

A longtime fixture at his Lewis Street studio in the North End, Giovanni DeCunto is unveiling an ongoing series called “The Family,” this week at his new gallery in the Seaport District.

Giovanni has painted a wide array of world changers including Frank Sinatra, Gianni Versace, Jay Z, Beyonce, Steve Jobs, and so many more.

Giovanni DeCunto’s larger-than-life paintings hang in the Smithsonian, Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the White House. We are also fortunate to have his work displayed on the walls of many North End restaurants.

Most recently, he finished a painting of Madonna and captured the three fascinating stages of his work, as well as Richard Branson and Elon Musk. He says his paintings are palettes for “chaos and order to collide.” His artwork has captured the eyes of celebrities and world leaders for decades.
