Police Blotter: Thief Flies to Chicago, Drunk Man Maced by Coast Guard Security

The following report is from District A-1 Boston Police blotter.


12/06/16  ~  8:00pm
Victim reports that a male suspect removed property from her North Margin Street apartment. The items were an xbox gaming system, iPad, iPhone 6S, clothing, wallet and prescription medications. The suspect fled and used the victims’ bank card for a flight to Chicago.

Police Officers responded to the Coast Guard base on Commercial Street for a suspicious person call. On arrival the male suspect (intoxicated) was on the ground unaware of his surroundings after he attempted to enter the base. At this time he was informed by security that he wasn’t allowed entry onto the base, which he then began to fight with the security guards. The suspect was sprayed with mace by security and transported the suspect to M.G.H. for treatment.
