NEMPAC Presents Handel’s Messiah Holiday Concert

On Wednesday, December 14th North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) presented its second annual performance of Handel’s “Messiah” Part I at St. Stephens Church in the North End.

The concert, featuring the Boston Landmarks Orchestra’s One City Choir, NEMPAC soloists, Eureka Musicians, and the St. Johns Honors Choir, was a resounding success, with an attendance of over 500 Messiah enthusiasts.

Perhaps the most powerful moment of the evening came when choir members joined the audience at the end of the concert for an encore rendition of the “Hallelujah Chorus”, in which attendees were invited to sing along with the choir and orchestra.

NEMPAC is committed to providing affordable and accessible arts programming to the community, and was proud to carry on the beloved Messiah tradition.
