Inaugural North End Basketball Bonanza Brings Out Dozens of Kids

North End Against Drugs and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz presented the inaugural North End Basketball Bonanza on Friday, November 18, 2016 which took place at the Nazzaro Center courts. Upon arrival, all participants received an NEAD welcome bag, with a North End Basketball Bonanza t-shirt donated by the Representative. They also enjoyed pizza generously provided by Rocco’s Cucina & Bar.

Over 50 children participated in this exceptional event which featured a skills game, three point challenge, and knockout competition. Trophies were kindly contributed by Mikey Fud Giannasoli and awarded throughout the night to the numerous winners of the various age categories.

Special thanks to Nazzaro Center Director and NEAD board member Carl Ameno, and NEAD board members Officer Teddy Boyle, Karen D’Amico, Rosina Fabbo, Ann Fitzgerald, Mikey Fud Giannasoli, George Hadaya, Maria Lanza, John Pregmon, NEAD President John Romano, Olivia Scimeca, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz, Rocco’s Cucina & Bar, and all the fans who cheered and supported the kids throughout the evening!
