As the fight to Save the North End Nursing Home continues, native North Ender Janet Gilardi shares these photos from the rehabilitation facility where she has been recuperating for the past five weeks after surgery. “What would I have done if this were not here?” she wonders.

Janet also enjoys the frequent visits from family and friends, some of which are shown here along with other patients outside the nursing and rehabilitation center at the corner of Richmond and Fulton Streets.
