The annual kickoff of this year’s Italian American Heritage Month will be held on Friday, September 30th at 5:45 p.m. in the State House Chamber, 3rd Floor.

Coro Dante will be performing the American and Italian national anthems and other musical selections. The performers will be vocalist Stefano Marchese, performing with Scanzonati, a prestigious project with Berklee faculty members, Andrea Pejrolo on bass, Somer O’Brien on accordion, Dan Smith on saxophone, David Lo Cascio on drums and Gilad Barakan on guitar.

Attend with friends and family and show your support of October Italian Heritage Month! A proclamation by Governor Charlie Baker will be read by Lt. Governor Karyn Polito. Honored Guest: Consul General of Italy, Nicola De Santis. A wonderful program has been planned, so please join us! Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
