The Battery Wharf Hotel (2-5 Battery Wharf, Boston), now operated by Westmont Hospitality, received a rare 28-0 unanimous vote of support to add live entertainment to its certificate of occupancy by the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA). Live entertainment is for indoor use only, including the lobby and function rooms, but not in the Leaders (VIP) Lounge. The application maintains the same type of entertainment previously seen when operated by Fairmont.
NEWRA’s vote is advisory to city officials. The request will also be heard by the North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) on September 12, 2016.
