Fisherman’s Feast celebrated in North End. Profiling the annual Fisherman’s Feast of the Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca as people pack the narrow streets of the North End. The four-day celebration dates back to the 16th century, where it originated in the Sicilian fishing village of Sciacca. Read more of the coverage at, The Boston Globe. 3. The events calendar has the following scheduled for today:
10:30am Storytelling at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Join professional storytellers outside at Faneuil Hall Marketplace each Tuesday for interactive tales. Created for younger audiences, but fun for all ages! Located on South Market Street near Wagamama.
6:00pm FOCCP 15th Anniversary Party in the Park with USAF Heritage of America Band. FOCCP is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2016, and they are having a party in the Park! The party will feature a live performance by the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band Rhythm in Blue Jazz Ensemble. (And cake. Lots of cake!)Located at at Christopher Columbus Park.
