Saint Agrippina Feast Opening Procession Features Costumes and Dancing [Photos].  Matt Conti was on hand capturing the festive opening night for the Feast of Saint Agrippina di Mineo, which was held on Hanover Street. The 1600 pound statue was unveiled and processed by 20 men to the Greenway before returning to her new weekend feast chapel. Take a look a this year’s St. Agrippina Feast Schedule starting Thursday, August 4th through Sunday, August 7th.

3. Take a look at the following events planned for today!

10:30am Storytelling at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Featuring Tony Toledo, join professional storytellers outside at Faneuil Hall Marketplace each Tuesday for interactive tales. Created for younger audiences, but fun for all ages! [Located at South Market Street near Wagamama] 

11:00am Caravan Puppets at North End Branch Library. A fun show for children of all ages,  located at 25 Parmenter Street.

6:00pm National Night Out on the Prado (Paul Revere Mall).  Encompassing all of the following attractions: BBQ, DJ Sal, Candle Ceremony, Face Painting, Balloon Art, NEMPAC, Boston Police, Church Bells, Kids Krafts, MBTA K9 Demo, Motorcycles, Suffolk County Sherrif’s Department, Coast Guard, North End Waterfront Health, RUFF, Paul Revere House, Century Bank – Italian Ice Cart, Boston Fire Department, RCN Ice cream Truck, Reptile Show, Suffolk University Police.

7:00pm Parks Committee (NEWRA) Meeting at Mariner’s House. Join the NEWRA Parks Committee in looking out for our neighborhood parks! Meetings are monthly on the first Tuesday of the month [Located at 11 North Square].

Red Sox Update: The Boston Red Sox (57-46) are currently 3rd in the AL East after taking 2 out of 4 against the Angels. They will now be heading to Seattle to face the Mariners in a four game stand.
