1. Carmen Trattoria Closed
A simple sign on the door announced the closing of Carmen Trattoria after 16 years in North Square. The notice alludes to a reopening “at a new spot” in the near future, although it was not clear if that meant the North End.

2. On the Events Calendar:
9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. – Italian Jazz Music free outdoor music workshop on the Prado, 9am for age 8 and younger, 10:15am for 8+. Get more information at NEMPACBoston.org.
10:30 a.m. – Storytelling at Faneuil Hall Marketplace with Tony Toledo. Created for younger audiences, but fun for all ages! South Market Street near Wagamama.
4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Outdoor Beer Garden – To kickoff the 7-day a week opening at Boston Public Market, an outdoor beer garden will be held on the plaza outside the market facing the Greenway. $5 local draft beer, music and games.
7:00 p.m. – RUFF Meeting – RUFF will be planning summer events in the dog park – come join in! They will also have the designs for the new park for anyone interested.
