“Save the North End Nursing Home” Starts Petition to Fight Closing

A group acting to “Save the North End Nursing Home” started an online petition to gather support against Partners HealthCare’s plans to close the Spaulding Nursing Home and Rehab Center at 70 Fulton Street, Boston. View the post for more on the group and their initiative.

Nursing Home on Historic Site

Further discussion has ensued in regards to Partners Nursing Home, pointing out that the location of the home is a historic North End, at the corner of Fulton and Richmond.  View the article and video for more on why the historic building and its neighboring structures were demolished to make room for the nursing home.
