North End Music and Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) held its annual Summer Soirée “White Party” on the Prado featuring live entertainment. Featured performers included pianist Thomas Schiavoni, pianist Jaime Castellonas, mezzo-soprano Caitlin Felsman, pianist Cindy Giron, singer Rhaea D’Aliesio, guitarist Caio Afuine and vocalist Stefano Marchese. A special guest performer was NEMPAC Board Member Doug Bowen Flynn who recited Shakespeare in honor of departing instructor and longtime staff member Rebecca Rapoport Cole.
Adding political support were State Senator Joe Boncore, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz and City Councilor Sal LaMattina. Organizing the sipping, nibbling and mingling were host committee members Jennifer McGivern, Melanie Crocini, Michelle Mehra-Melwani, Peta-Gaye Prinn and Rose-Marie Gomez.
