Gearing up for the Summer 2016 North End Feasts, the clubs and societies gathered on Saturday for the 2nd Annual Battle of the North End Saints Bocce Tournament.
St. Anthony’s Club defeated St Lucy’s and the Fisherman’s Club in early rounds to face returning champs St. Agrippina Society in the Championship Round to take home The All Saints Cup.
Participating in this year’s Battle of the Saints were St. Agrippina’s Club, Madonna Della Cava Club, St. Joseph’s Club, Madonna Della Soccorso Club, St. Anthony’s Club, St. Lucy’s Club and St. Rosalia’s Club.
All feast societies donated to the charity chosen by Saint Anthony’s – $1,000 will be donated to: Stephen’s Run, benefiting the New England Veterans Center in memory of Stephen Perez.
