Don’t forget to vote on Saturday, May 14th, 10am-2pm, 30 N. Bennet Street in the annual election for North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC)! There are usually only a few hundred voters, so your vote really does count!
NEWNC’s annual election is on Saturday, May 14, 2016, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 N. Bennet Street, North End, Boston. All North End / Waterfront residents (Ward 3, Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4), age 18 and older, are eligible to vote in this year’s election. Bring proof of residence.
Residents can choose up to six candidates who will appear on the ballot in this randomly selected order:
- John Pregmon – North St.
- Brett Roman – Cleveland Pl.
- Zach Zimmerman – Hanover St.
- Danielle D’Ambrosio – Hanover St.
- Anne Roach — Charter St.
- Gennaro Riccio – Hanover St.
- Marie Simboli – Prince St.
- Michael Bonetti – Hull St.
The six candidates with the most votes will be elected for a 2-year term and join the other current six members that have one year left remaining in their term. The other six standing members on the 12-person council are Philip Frattaroli, Carmine Guarino, Sean Hennessey, Jorge Mendoza and Ralph Verrocchi.
